Joint Entrance Examination (AME | B.tech) 2019


The Joint Entrance Examination to get an entry in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and B.Tech in top institutes Approved by the DGCA and Ministry of Civil Aviation Government of India, AICTE, DTE. The Exams are held in both English and Hindi medium. On the basis of All India Rank (AIR 2019) students engage in counseling and confirm their seat in the top Government approved AME/B.Tech institutions according to candidates AIR score. Candidates can apply 3 times. Candidate must be appearing or passed the 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years diploma in engineering. During the time of admission, candidate age must be more than 16 years. The students can get admission to the best AME/B.Tech institutes through common merit in JEE 2019.

Examination Eligibility Criteria 2019

Candidate must be appearing or passed the 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. A candidate who posses equivalent AICTE approved 3 years diploma in engineering from central or State government. Candidates can apply for the JEE AME entrance test for 3 times. Candidates eligible for B.tech course also eligible for AME. During the time of admission, candidate age must not be less than 16 years.

Joint Entrance Exam Pattern

  • JEE (AME|Btech) Exam Pattern 2019 indicates the exam mode, type of question, marking scheme, etc. The The Joint Entrance Examination is a National Level Exam, which is organized to provide admissions in undergraduate engineering courses. It will be conducted in offline mode.
  • MODE OF EXAM : Pen & Paper based (offline Paper)
  • DURATION OF THE EXAMINATION : The total time given to candidates is 2 hours.
  • SUBJECT : Candidates will be tested in 5 subjects namely - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English & General Awareness will be asked from the given syllabus 2019.
  • QUESTION PAPER PATTERN : For XII Appearing & Pass out non-medical candidate :A total no. of 90 questions will be asked in the Offline examination in 2019. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics section will have 20 questions each MCQ level. English section will be asked 15 questions (3 comprehensive, 5 question each paragraph) and General Awareness section will be asked 15 questions MCQ level.
  • QUESTION PAPER PATTERN : For 3 years engineering diploma holders candidate : A total no. of 90 questions will be asked in the Offline examination in 2019. Physics, Mathematics section will be asked 20 questions each MCQ level. English and General Awareness will be asked 30 questions question MCQ level.
  • MARKING SCHEME: Each correct answer will be awarded +4 marks. Every wrong answer will fetch -1 mark while any answer with no response will not be given any marks.
  • Total MARKS AWARDED : The paper will be set for 360 marks.
  • LANGUAGE OF QUESTION PAPER : All candidates will be given the option to write the joint entrance examination in English or Hindi.
